Hello, my name is Helen. I’ve called my blog ‘Blissful Mum’ – simply because I’m a pretty cheerful and happy mother of two fantastic little boys aged 5 and 3 and a baby girl.  We live in Hertfordshire, England. I have a wonderful husband, who is the most warm and generous person I know. I love all things crafty; cardmaking, scrapbooking, sewing, flower arranging and especially cake decorating. I also enjoy tracing my family history, travel, art and collecting vintage china.

I have a strong interest in interior design and home styling - I’d say my decorating style is mostly country chic with a classic twist. I also like researching all aspects of family living, in my quest to become the perfect domestic goddess! After a busy banking career in the city I’m now ready for a change. I’d love to be able to combine my interests and talents in setting up my own business and I hope you will join me on the journey as I work out what I’m going to do, one post at a time!
